The newly released Mitsubishi 380 has added another prestigious award to its growing trophy cabinet with the announcement today that it has been awarded Australia's Best Cars 'Best Large Car'.
Australia's Best Cars awards are judges by the combined motoring clubs of Australia - the RACQ, NRMA, RACV, RACT, RAA, RAC and the AA of NT - and are promoted to their 6.3 million members throughout Australia.

The judges said: 'Mitsubishi finally has a winning hand after years of spruiking tired models.
'On-road it has plenty to offer. The 380 is the smoothest, quietest Australian-made car. It also features beaut bump absorption and dutiful damping.'

'The radically revamped 3.8 litre V6 pulls strongly while changes from the five-speed sequential transmission are clean and timely.

'The 380 is a front-wheel-drive car with a sporty bent. Its grip and stability are highly attuned, steering is precise and mid-corner bumps rarely corrupt cornering.'

Toyota to launch Belta

TOKYO, Mon: Toyota Motor Corp is launching the Belta, a new sub-compact sedan, next month and is also considering exporting it, the carmaker said today.
Belta, which means “beauty” in Italian, is the smallest sedan for Japan’s No. 1 carmaker and comes in two- and four-wheel-drive models, Toyota said.It has set a monthly sales target of 3,000 units.Toyota president Katsuaki Watanabe said it is considering exporting the Belta as global consumers are becoming more conscious of environment-friendly and fuel-efficient cars.

This engine layout is for 1.3L engine.

This one is 1.0L In-line 3 cylinders engine.

Comment:
Not a great car from TOYOTA rather than just another afforable low price car for Japanese market. It was launched by TOYOTA yesterday and called BELTA.
The based is from Vitz, just extended the back and become Sedan looks car. Click here --> Vitz

Anyway, this modify or so-called extended Vitz exterior is much better than the previous model. It's smoother shape and not the kind of ulgy monster as before.

Paris-Dakar Rally champion - PAJERO EVO

Paris-Dakar rally trophy is not easy to be WON.

There are all together 508 teams which included:
240 motorcross bikes
188 Vehicles
240 Trucks

Total distance about 9043KM, mostly no sign boards or road to guide you. Direction decided by Driver and unpredictable road conditions a long the way. The only word can say is GOOD LUCK!!

Mitsubishi Team so-called Team Repsol Mitsubishi Ralliart is the best team ever, they were the champion for 5 consecutive years. And they have won more than 10 times in top 10 list. With the super rally car so-called PAJERO-EVOLUTION (Picture shown below).

I strongly believed this team and machine will be champion again in next year 2006 Paris-Dakar rally race. Holly Cow!
